Yves Saint Laurent Y Intense Review

Yves Saint Laurent Y Intense Review

Interesting spin on a beloved classic.

Yves Saint Laurent’s Y EDP Intense is a more refined and mature take on the Y DNA, whilst still being very versatile and enjoyable. Presentation: The bottle, like the rest of the Y line, features the brand’s name on a silver letter Y. This bottle opted out of the gradient colour of the EDP, and instead is a dark blue throughout. The box looks almost identical to it’s EDP counterpart, the only differences being the name at the bottom and being slightly lighter.
Yves Saint Laurent Bleu Électrique Review

Yves Saint Laurent Bleu Électrique Review

Warm and spicy fragrance for men.

Yve Saint Laurent’s La Nuit De L’Homme was one of their best-selling fragrances, due to it’s sexy smell and great performance. However, the scent has become weaker over the years. This is where the Bleu Électrique flanker comes in, reviving the old DNA with better performance. Presentation: The bottle is a blue cylinder featuring the name of the fragrance and brand on the front, topped with a hexagonal cap with the YSL logo on top.
Versace Dylan Blue Review

Versace Dylan Blue Review

Great fresh fragrance for all seasons.

Versace’s Dylan Blue is a fresh fragrance for men with a long lasting and mass-appealing scent, with the versatility to be worn through all seasons. Presentation: The fragrance bottle is a dark shade of blue, stamped with a golden Versace logo in the middle of it. The box states the name of the fragrance and brand, with some nice line patterns on the side. Overall, simple in a good way.
Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb Extreme Review

Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb Extreme Review

Strong winter fragrance.

Viktor & Rolf’s Spicebomb Extreme is a great, mass-appealing and sexy winter fragrance for men. It’s long lasting and has very good projection, even with limited sprays. Presentation: The fragrance bottle is in the shape of a grenade, hence the name “spicebomb”. The bottle is very unique, novel and potentially suspicious. The box is simple but also eye-catching, with an orange band around it listing the brand and name of the fragrance.
Paco Rabanne Invictus Review

Paco Rabanne Invictus Review

Synthetic, sweet, fresh and youthful.

Paco Rabanne’s Invictus is a fresh, synthetic and juvenile fragrance which has recently joined my collection. This fragrance is geared more towards younger people as many older people find the scent too synthetic and some find it headache-inducing. Presentation: As with most Paco Rabanne fragrances, Invictus is presented in a very unique and pretty bottle. The trophy-esque shape definitely leaves an impression, although the top is plastic and feels a bit cheap.
Yves Saint Laurent Y Eau de Parfum Review

Yves Saint Laurent Y Eau de Parfum Review

Great scent, underwhelming performance.

Yves Saint Laurent’s Y Eau de Parfum has quickly become one of my most used fragrances due to it’s versatility and great mass-appealing scent. Presentation: The bottle is quality, featuring the company’s name on a silver letter Y. The colours of dark blue and black shows it is a true “blue” fragrance, design-wise and scent-wise. The box follows a similar colour scheme, with a clear letter Y on the front.
