Paco Rabanne Invictus Review
Synthetic, sweet, fresh and youthful.
Paco Rabanne’s Invictus is a fresh, synthetic and juvenile fragrance which has recently joined my collection. This fragrance is geared more towards younger people as many older people find the scent too synthetic and some find it headache-inducing.
Presentation:
As with most Paco Rabanne fragrances, Invictus is presented in a very unique and pretty bottle. The trophy-esque shape definitely leaves an impression, although the top is plastic and feels a bit cheap. The box is simple, showing the name and brand .
Notes:
The main notes of this fragrance are:
- Aquatic notes,
- Grapefruit,
- Madarin orange,
- Bay leaf,
- Ambergris,
- Guaiac wood,
- Oakmoss,
- Patchouli.
Thoughts:
This fragrance doesn’t smell natural, which may be where the complaints come from. It’s very easy to tell it’s synthetic, but I still personally find the scent appealing, as do many others. I think sampling is best before buying, just to make sure you won’t regret it later on. This fragrance is very good longevity-wise, lasting most of the day on skin, with moderate projection throughout. Overall, not blind-buy worthy but definitely worth sampling.
